Dream Girl

After attending a Stake Conference meeting on Sunday, which was a satellite broadcast from Salt Lake City, Utah, Steve and I both remarked about how President Monson seemed very different in appearance and tone. He is usually an eloquent speaker, painting a brilliant picture for his listeners as he tells a story and bears his testimony of the gospel. He seemed very somber and almost depressed at times. We realize now he must have known that his dear friend and prophet was near death. President Hinckley will be sorely missed by anyone who has had the opportunity to hear him or meet him. Amy reminded me of another reason why we loved him so much. Soon after his wife died he spoke of his love for her and said, "Before I married her, she had been the girl of my dreams, and now in my old age, she has again become the girl of my dreams." Now he's with his dream girl again. :)
