Jazzy

We went to Jackson's Jazz Band concert last week. Waaaaaay better than last year's Beginning Band concert. I knew all the honking and noise coming out of that trumpet would eventually turn into beautiful music.


He even performed a solo, which we, being the perfect parents we are, failed to video. But we were proud as punch to see how far he's come. So proud, I didn't even mind that he didn't want to sit in the back corner next to his breast-feeding mother for the rest of the concert.

Sadie has somehow avoided my camera recently

On Sunday my baby girl turned 8. If you are a Mormon like me, you know that's the big one. So off I go to finish up birthday party plans, a baptism program and a baptism dress for this weekend. She seems like a much younger eight than Jackson and Sadie were at her age.

At a wedding reception over the weekend just 30 minutes before she puked in the car on the way home.
